Speaking to reporters after the game, the City boss said: "Lack of class. But it's not United, it's the people, you know? We are so exposed in the screen in world football – managers, owners, and football players especially. Honestly, I don't understand the mind of the people involving the mum of Phil. It's a lack of integrity, class, and they should be ashamed."
THE BIGGER PICTURE
The reigning champions could have reclaimed their top-four position had they collected all three points in the derby, but the City attack looked toothless in the absence of Erling Haaland. On the other hand, United held on to the 13th position after securing a point from the crucial fixture at home.
