Scott McTominay has made 25 appearances for Manchester United’s first team this season.
It has been a real breakthrough campaign for the Scotland international, who has appeared in 11 of the club’s 36 Premier League matches this term.
McTominay also made four Champions League appearances before the club were eliminated by Sevilla in the round of 16, and there is no question that he is in the good books of head coach Jose Mourinho.
United’s official Twitter account paid tribute to McTominay on Monday, and the club’s fans were on hand to reveal their views on the 21-year-old.
There is no question that a number are huge supporters of the midfielder, who is valued at £6.3m by transfermarkt.co.uk, but that is not a view shared by all.
Indeed, there are many that feel that McTominay is not quite good enough to be a first-team player for United, but Mourinho clearly does not agree.
